Lamonte Winston

Lamonte Winston, President & CEO of The Winston Group a Life Skills & Sports Consulting Firm located in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. I have been with Moore-Myers Children’s Fund as a board member for just over a year now. I became involved with MMCF after having an introductory conversation with Dr. Justine (she’s quite convincing). Once I saw the dedication, commitment, and admiration that everyone had for Dr. Justine and Rick I knew I was with the right group of people that could really impact and transform the lives of our young people from the inside out!

Why is MMCF important to you? MMCF is important to me because it is focused on shaping our greatest treasure…children. Our focus is on exposing children to a new sport while focusing on the values that will make them great people as they go out in the world. We are the catalyst for shaping these young people and positioning them for future opportunities that might now have been on their radar as a possibility.

Mr. Blackston retired from Verizon Communications. As co-founder of MMCF, he wants to share the kind of experience he had as a child. The parents in his community were the village that raised him collectively. That’s what he wants for our eagles because the sky is the limit.
