We had a blast at our annual family fun day. Thank you Eagles and family for joining us! We played board games, frisbee, football toss, and had a family challenge scavenger hunt (congrats to the Aquino and Brown families tying for 1st place 🧐. The Earley family came in a close 2nd!) Eagles were gifted with a picnic basket. We hope you enjoyed your day with MMCF!
Always giving back, the remaining food, dessert, and condiments were donated to the Trinity Rescue Mission.

A local and nationally known Artist, Suzanne Strock, presented Eagle Morgan Wilkerson with this beautiful oil on canvas portrait of Billie Holiday.
Morgan came into Moore Myers, a quiet, shy, unassuming young lady who has blossomed into a leader with an amazing personality and confidence!
Morgan sang Billie Holiday`s "Good Morning Heartache" in her high school play. MMCF LPGA Susan Waite attended her performance and told her friend Suzanne about Morgan and the performance.

Our Story
The Moore-Myers Children’s Fund was inspired by Annie Moore, a teacher and golfer, and Jessie Myers, an entrepreneur and mentor to many. Both women dedicated their lives to improving the lives of others, especially the lives of children.

How It Works
MMCF focuses on the game of golf because it is fun and challenging; golf helps build personal character and teaches critical life lessons. We help transform lives by reinforcing our core values of confidence, honesty, respect, integrity, judgment, responsibility and perseverance.
As children learn the game, they also learn valuable life lessons related to these values, ultimately setting them up for success, both on and off the course.
To date there are 75 “Eagles” in the program ranging from 5 years old to 18 years old. 100% have completed the First Tee Golf & Life Skills program and all are expected to participate in the winter, summer and fall programs.
We provide Eagles with individual lessons led by PGA-certified professionals as well as networking opportunities hosted by others involved in the golf community. MMCF helps students develop the golf skills necessary to compete in tournaments and earn college scholarships and the life and character skills required to achieve their dreams.
