AT Moore-Myers Children's Fund

WE HELP OUR EAGLES SOAR.

At  Moore-Myers Children’s Fund (MMCF), we refer to our student participants as “Eagles,” a reflection of their high aspirations and great potential power to soar. We want our Eagles to view themselves as powerful individuals who can reach phenomenal heights in life if only given the opportunity.

We take significant interest in helping our students become exceptional human beings and help transform lives by reinforcing our core values of confidence, honesty, respect, integrity, judgement, responsibility and perseverance through both on and off-course mentoring. Our goal is to help students develop exceptional character and prepare them to play college-level golf.

Eagles range in age from 5 to 18 and are guided by PGA-certified professionals and mentors who work with each young person individually. Eagles stay physically and mentally active as they develop both the golf skills necessary to compete in tournaments and earn college scholarships; as well as the life and character skills necessary to achieve their dreams.

THE G.R.O.W.T.H. ACADEMY

PREPARATION FOR COLLEGE AND BEYOND

For those Eagles looking to take their game to the next level, MMCF has created the G.R.O.W.T.H. (Golf Related Opportunities While Transcending Humanity) Academy. G.R.O.W.T.H. Academy participants are students who have the focus, passion, and desire to play competitive golf, either with school teams or in individual tournaments.

Our golf-focused curriculum gives these self-motivated young people the means to elevate their golf skills to college-level play with the goal of earning scholarships through both golf and academics.

Ladies on Links Logo
Ladies on Links (LOL)

Moore-Myers has established a new initiative called Ladies On Links (LOL).  LOL’s mission is two-fold, to develop meaningful relationships between our Eagles and their parents and friends. Also, through golf, increase the number of women playing the game.

Twenty-three ladies have made a commitment to learn the game.  The logo was inspired by MMCF Peer Mentor Olivia Lyle, whose silhouette was used to create the logo image.

GET INVOLVED.

IT TAKES A VILLAGE. JOIN US.

Since its inception in 2014, MMCF has been overwhelmed with support as many have seen the tremendous impact the program has on the youth and its potential to create meaningful change.

We call our network of volunteers “The Village,” as it is made up of many caring and dedicated individuals who believe in the MMCF mission as well as provide a larger support system for our participants and their families.

There are many ways to be involved in The Village, so please consider which option is best for you.

Coaches

Coaches

HELP KIDS HANDLE LIFE LIKE A PRO.
Our coaches are avid golfers, PGA, LPGA and certified golf professionals who also serve as role models for our participants. Along with teaching the game of golf, they reinforce the seven core values we believe are essential in golf and life in general: confidence, honesty, respect, integrity, judgment, responsibility and perseverance.

“PAR”-TICIPATE FROM AFAR
Even if you’re not able to get out on the course with our Eagles, your financial contribution or equipment donation will go a long way toward helping them soar. Thanks to the support and generosity of our donors, we are able to continue serving kids and teens throughout our community. Your commitment helps build the financial stability we need to confidently anticipate our future and helps launch and grow exciting scholarship, access, and program opportunities, inspiring our young people today for a brighter future tomorrow.
