My son has been the recipient of this organization’s support for the last few years and it has made a huge impact in his life and lives of so many other students like him. When he entered the program, he was struggling academically and socially. Much to our surprise, golf became a place where our very energetic son turned into someone very disciplined, focused, goal-oriented—a completely different child than almost anywhere else.

Moore-Myers is fun! I have learned about grip, aim and posture. Playing golf with all the kids and coaches is a great experience. My instructor Mr. Ted Hopkins is the best and says I will hit it to the end of the driving range someday. I have won some of the tournaments I have entered. Remember, to be early is to be on time, to be on time is to be late, and to be late is unacceptable.

Moore-Myers connected me with an outstanding coach and mentor. They helped me to build confidence, public speaking skills and obtain college scholarships. Through my involvement as an eagle, I was able to make friends, participate in tournaments, and grow my golf skill level and my understanding of the game and its rules. I feel prepared as I take my next steps into college because of the values and skills I learned in MMCF.
