MMCF Programs

WE HELP OUR EAGLES SOAR.

At  Moore-Myers Children’s Fund (MMCF), we refer to our student participants as “Eagles,” a reflection of their high aspirations and great potential power to soar.

We accept children as young as 8 years old, welcoming them into a supportive environment led by PGA-certified professionals, coaches, and mentors. At this stage, young Eagles begin their journey by developing foundational golf skills and strong character. Through individualized guidance, they stay physically and mentally active while being introduced to the character traits we uphold: confidence, honesty, respect, integrity, judgment, responsibility, and perseverance. These early experiences lay the groundwork for growth both on and off the course.

GOLF RELATED OPPORTUNITIES WHILE TRANDESCENDING HUMANITY

For those Eagles looking to take their game to the next level, MMCF has created the G.R.O.W.T.H. Academy. G.R.O.W.T.H. Academy participants are students who have the focus, passion, and desire to play competitive golf, either with school teams or in individual tournaments.

Our golf-focused curriculum gives these self-motivated young people the means to elevate their golf skills to college-level play with the goal of earning scholarships through both golf and academics.

PREPARATION FOR COLLEGE AND BEYOND

We want our Eagles to view themselves as powerful individuals who can reach phenomenal heights in life if only given the opportunity.

As students progress, our focus intensifies on helping them become exceptional human beings and competitive golfers. Through mentorship and character development, we prepare them not just to compete in tournaments, but to succeed in life. Our ultimate goal is to help each Eagle earn college scholarships and reach their full potential, both as athletes and as individuals ready to take on the world.

Moore-Myers Children's Fund

Moore-Myers Children’s Fund’s newest initiative, Ladies On Links (LOL) continues to thrive, building a strong community around the game of golf.

The program’s mission is two-fold: to strengthen the bond between our Eagles and their parents and friends, and to encourage more women to actively participate in golf. Since its launch, twenty-three women have committed to learning the game and embracing the sport’s unique opportunities for personal growth and connection. The LOL logo, a symbol of empowerment and elegance, was inspired by MMCF Peer Mentor Olivia Lyle. Her silhouette was used to create the image that now represents the spirit of the program.

SHARE YOUR PASSION FOR THE GAME.

Do you have a gift for teaching and a passion for helping young people succeed? Join Moore-Myers Children’s Fund as an Instructor and use the game of golf to educate, inspire, and empower.

Our instructors are educators at heart—focused not only on technique but also on building confidence, discipline, and lifelong values in every Eagle.

Instructors

Our coaches are passionate, experienced golfers including PGA, LPGA, and certified golf professionals who serve not only as instructors but also as trusted role models for our participants.

Their influence extends beyond the golf course, as they mentor each student in both athletic and personal development. While teaching the fundamentals and strategy of the game, they consistently reinforce the seven character traits we believe are essential for success in golf and in life: confidence, honesty, respect, integrity, judgment, responsibility, and perseverance. Through their guidance, our students grow into well-rounded individuals who carry these principles with them in everything they do.

IT TAKES A VILLAGE. JOIN US.

Since its inception in 2014, MMCF has been overwhelmed with support as many have seen the tremendous impact the program has on the youth and its potential to create meaningful change.

We call our network of volunteers “The Village,” as it is made up of many caring and dedicated individuals who believe in the MMCF mission as well as provide a larger support system for our participants and their families.

There are many ways to be involved in The Village, so please consider which option is best for you.

PURSUE HIGHER EDUCATION

GOLDEN EAGLES

Our Golden Eagles, who serve as peer mentors, are shining examples of leadership, integrity, and giving back. These young men and women—many of whom have advanced through the MMCF program and gone on to pursue higher education—return to inspire and guide younger Eagles following in their footsteps.

Through their mentorship, they model the values instilled by MMCF: discipline, respect, perseverance, and service to others. By sharing their experiences, challenges, and successes, Golden Eagles encourage younger participants to set ambitious goals, stay focused, and embody the character traits that lead to a successful and productive life both on and off the course.

CHARACTER EDUCATION

The Moore-Myers Children’s Fund (MMCF) is deeply committed to developing not only skilled young golfers, but also well-rounded, character-driven individuals prepared to thrive on and off the course. Through its character education and life-skills workshops, MMCF instills values such as integrity, respect, perseverance, and responsibility—qualities that form the foundation of success in every area of life. These workshops complement the organization’s athletic programming by helping participants understand that character is the true measure of greatness, both in competition and in the broader community.

MMCF’s workshops are designed to give youth the tools they need for a successful and fulfilling future. Participants learn essential life skills through hands-on, engaging sessions such as dining etiquette, CPR certification, and financial literacy. Additional offerings like college readiness, career exploration, sports psychology, and confidence-building exercises help students prepare for real-world challenges and opportunities. By integrating these experiences into the MMCF program, participants gain the confidence, discipline, and self-awareness to lead with purpose—whether they are on the golf course, in the classroom, or stepping into their next chapter of life.
